PyrolysisRehm launches in Japan...
by Marc Dalderup, Rehm Chief Commercial Officer

We are pleased to announce a new partnership in Japan with Techno Alpha that will enabled us to exhibit the Condenso Vacuum system at Nepcon Japan (January 28-30 2009 Tokyo Japan). The event marked the first time we have demonstrated at this major show for the Japanese market. We were delighted to have teamed up with Techno Alpha, an experienced force in the Japanese market when it comes to soldering technology, having operated in the region for close to 20 years.

Extending the product range…
First of all we are delighted to announce that we have extended the scope of the Rehm Reflow technology range so that our mid-range systems can now be delivered with the top thermal technology conventionally used in larger systems. So from heated lengths of 1.8 to 4.5 Meters, we can be your technology partner for VXP and VXS Reflow platforms.

Expanding the company…
We are currently finalizing the expansion of our building in Blaubeuren, Germany, adding over 3000 square meters state-of-the-art production areas to accommodate our fast-growing activities in 2009.

Our team in the Americas has also just moved into a new larger building in Atlanta and will be able to operate with a comprehensive demonstration facility in Q2 2009 to enhance the service our accounts in this region can expect from Rehm.

New Technology…
After more than 20 beta sites, many running over 12 months, we are proud to confirm the release of the VXP Reflow platform using the Pyrolyse Flux Management system for the heating zones. This is another important Rehm innovation, equipping our customers with everything they need to make their reflow process as clean as possible with minimum maintenance intervals and the lowest operating costs.
